Nõo Lihatööstus, the largest in Estonia based on domestic capital, is hiring at least 20 new employees, who are needed for both production and warehousing due to the increased production volume.
According to Toomas Kruustüki, the manager of Nõo Lihatöötuste, the sales of meat products to household consumers have increased during the crisis, in addition, the consumption of grilled products is expected to increase from the beginning of the field season.
“Summer is one of the most intensive production periods of the year for us and we will see that this year as well. Despite the corona crisis, Estonians’ love of meat has not decreased, but on the contrary – since there is more time to cook at home, our sales to home consumers have rather increased. We plan to produce 600 tons of summer products for the started grill season, which is 10% more than last year, “said Kruustük.
Nõo Lihatööstus offers jobs for the following positions: product packer, machine operator, moulder, cutter, warehousekeeper, meat product manufacturer, slicer, sausage and pate manufacturer.
Anyone who is interested in the food industry and wants to contribute to its development is welcome to apply. “We offer on-site training, so previous work experience is useful, but not necessarily necessary. Dedicated employees will definitely continue working for us longer than just for the summer period, “added Kruustük.
