We have launched two new, innovative product lines – the cheese-based Cheester and the meat snack Snack’n’GO. The company invested one million euros in their production by expanding manufacturing facilities and acquiring new equipment.
Cheester cheese products are made using a unique recipe developed by Nõo Lihatööstus and an innovative production technology. The soft-textured cheese sticks with an edible casing are traditionally lightly smoked using natural alder wood smoke. The range includes four flavours: Cheester with hard cheese, with jalapeño, with truffle flavour, and the Lotte snack for children.
The Snack’n’GO range consists of meat snacks – slim sausages that are long-dried and smoked in alder wood smoke. The products are high in protein and are available in four varieties: pork, chicken, turkey, and chorizo-flavoured.
“These snacks are a healthier alternative to chips, sweets and sugary confectionery, and are suitable as an energy-rich option in the daily diet,” said Simmo Kruustük, Chairman of the Board of Nõo Lihatööstus. The company also sees strong export potential and growth opportunities in the new product lines.
“When developing each product, we primarily focus on two qualities: taste and health,” Kruustük added. Nõo Lihatööstus has reduced the salt and fat content in its products and does not use the flavour enhancer E621.
