New Flagship Store Opens in Tallinn

A third Nõo Lihatööstus flagship store has now joined our Tartu locations – at Balti Jaama Market in Tallinn.

“This is a place where customers can find a wide range of products that are not available in regular stores – smoked hams, smoked sausages, meat patties, schnitzels and much more. We also offer fresh meat and special products at attractive prices. In short, high-quality and tasty products directly from the manufacturer – more than one hundred different items in total,” said Simmo Kruustük, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Nõo Lihatööstus. “At the Balti Jaama Market store, we host daily tastings, offer special prices, daily deals and prize draws – and, of course, our award-winning products.”

Simmo noted that the decision to expand was driven by the success of Nõo’s existing flagship stores. The company is also considering using this special retail concept in one of its export markets in the future. “In Southern Estonia, everyone knows our products – now we can offer them in the capital as well,” he added, noting that Nõo also aims to provide surrounding foodservice businesses with the best price–quality offering for fresh raw materials.

“We have been working with Nõo Lihatööstus for some time to find the right location. We are very pleased that their flagship store has opened in our market in the capital, as these products are extremely popular both with our team and in Tallinn overall. This is also personally meaningful to me – my grandmother always said that her legendary potato salad for festive occasions required only Nõo doctor’s sausage, and she made blood sausages using exclusively Nõo raw materials. That is why it is especially nice that the store opened during the holiday season. It is a great addition to our meat zone, and we can now offer market visitors an even wider selection,” commented Sanders Hage, Manager of Balti Jaama Market and Member of the Supervisory Board of Astri Group.

In its renewed form, Balti Jaama Market has quickly won the favour of customers. Saturdays are particularly busy, with an average of 18,000 to 22,000 visitors. Over the course of a year, Balti Jaama Market is visited by more than five million people.
