PROCESSING OF CUSTOMER PERSONAL DATA

Lihavürsti e-shop, hereinafter “E-shop”, has undertaken to protect the privacy of its customers and e-shop users and has drawn up privacy policy principles regarding the collection, use, publication, transmission and storage of customer data. Personal data processed by the e-shop

  • customer name, phone number and email address;
  • address of delivery of goods;
  • customer’s bank account number;
  • cost of goods and services and data related to payments (customer’s purchase history);
  • data related to the provision of customer support.

Purpose of personal data processing

  • Personal data is used to manage customer orders and deliver goods.
  • Purchase history data (purchase date, product, quantity, customer data) is used to create an overview of purchased goods and services and to analyze customer preferences.
  • The bank account number is used to return payments to the customer.
  • Personal data such as e-mail, telephone number and customer name are processed in order to resolve issues related to the provision of goods and services (providing customer support).
  • The e-shop user’s IP address or other network identifiers are processed for the provision of the e-shop as an information society service and for online usage statistics.

Legal basis

Personal data is processed for the purpose of fulfilling the contract concluded with the customer and for the fulfillment of a legal obligation (accounting, resolving consumer disputes).

Recipients to whom personal data is transferred

  • Personal data is transferred to the customer support of the E-shop to manage purchases and purchase history and to solve customer problems. Personal data is transferred to the financial department for accounting purposes.
  • Personal data may be transferred to information technology service providers if it is necessary to ensure the functionality of the E-store or data hosting.
  • The necessary personal data are transferred to the authorized processor Stripe for the management of e-store payments.

Security and data access

  • Personal data is stored on servers located in the territory of a member state of the European Union or countries that have joined the European Economic Area. Data may be transferred to countries whose level of data protection has been assessed as adequate by the European Commission and to US companies that are affiliated with the Privacy Shield framework.
  • Employees of the E-store have access to personal data, they can view personal data in order to fulfill E-store orders, solve technical issues related to the use of the E-store and provide customer support services.
  • The e-shop implements appropriate physical, organizational and IT security measures to protect personal data from accidental or illegal destruction, loss, alteration or unauthorized access and disclosure.
  • Transfer of personal data to authorized processors of the E-shop (e.g. payment service provider and data hosting) is carried out on the basis of contracts concluded with the E-shop and authorized processors. Authorized processors are obliged to ensure appropriate protection measures when processing personal data.

Viewing and correcting personal data

Personal data can be consulted and corrections can be made in the user profile of the E-shop. If the purchase has been made without a user account, the personal data can be viewed through customer support via e-mail ().

Withdrawal of consent

If the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of the customer’s consent, the customer has the right to withdraw the consent by informing the customer support via e-mail ().

Storage, deletion and transfer of personal data

Upon closing the customer account of the e-store, personal data is deleted, with the exception of data that needs to be kept for accounting or resolving consumer disputes.

If a purchase is made in the E-shop without a customer account, the purchase history is stored for three years.

In the case of disputes related to payments and consumer disputes, personal data will be stored until the claim is fulfilled or the expiry period ends.

Personal data necessary for accounting are stored for seven years.

The request for the transfer of personal data submitted by e-mail will be answered within a month at the latest. Customer support identifies the identity and informs about the personal data that is subject to transfer.

The e-mail address and phone number may be used to send direct marketing messages if the customer has given their consent. If the customer does not wish to receive direct marketing messages, he must select the corresponding reference in the footer of the e-mail or contact customer support.
